ObjektSynth

ObjektSynth is a multi-timbral real-time software synthesizer. It is unique among the synthesizers here in that it runs under BeOS, an operating system which is currently only available for PowerPCs, but which is meant to be available for Pentiums in early 1998. (Currently it is not yet available). The use of BeOS means that there is almost no lag.

It is planned to be fully modular, but at the moment the modules are fixed. Each voice has 3 oscillators (saw, triangle, square (PWM) and sine), two multimode resonant filters (low, high, band-pass and notch), one noise source, 2 envelopes, 2 LFOs, 2 amplifiers (with overdrive) and 3 3-channel mixers.
