Welcome to the VRadio homepage. VRadio is a java/javascript/VBScript applet that allows you to listen to tracks that I have put into it. It requires RealAudio 3 and either Netscape Navigator 3 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3, though all of these can be downloaded free of charge. RealAudio must have been installed after Navigator/Explorer.

Techie bit

For those who want to know how it works, VRadio is mainly programmed in Javascript (in the Navigator version) and VBScript (in the Explorer version). It uses client-side imagemaps for the top and bottom graphic areas. The scrolling LED display is Chris Cobb's "Obligatory" Ticker Tape Applet which I have modified using Kawa (a Java editor) and the Sun Java Development Kit. I made it smaller by removing features I didn't need, added Moja (the Java-Javascript/VBScript interface) support and a few other bits and pieces. The slider bar is part of the RealAudio plugin.
