Apparently the happy arena this time was the house arena at 'ravelation' on New Years Eve. There must have been about 5000? people in the arena. Inflatables filled the ceilings and the lazers canons fired overhead. There was a chill out area, burger bar, hot drinks, face painting for the nutters, and merchandise etc.
The DJ line up was wicked boasting all of the country's top names. They all played stormin sets. With a good mix of 'hands in the air' happy and stompin techno. The MC's included Sharkey, Majika, Marley to name a few.
The crowd was terrific; some sources have informed me that it was'nt so heavenly, but I didn't notice. The amount of smiley faces bearing white gloves and whistles was amazing. I don't know how many people I shook hands with, everyone was luving it. I didn't go into the moody jungle room or the shite house room; there was no need to it was perfect. The only time there was some attitude was when the jungle crew felt they had the right to push through any queue like they ran the place. I also heard that alot of bad things went on in the jungle room. But that's what moody places are like.
A top-class night I had a wicked time and so did everyone I spoke to.
