Review: Diehard 27th April @ The Santuary

Now, quite simply, this was the best rave I have ever been to in my life. And I don't beleive it was solely down to the DJ's either. I met people there that I hadn't seen in YEARS, And some of my closest friends were there. The whole place was full of people cuddling and kissing..it was fantastic.

Up points:

Amazing music, really friendly people, cool venue, cold water on tap, fucking amazing VR simulater outside (Which I must point out that I would not have enjoyed had it not have been for Paul paying for me and luvly little "Bubble of energy" Emma). The chill out area was outside (the best place to have a chill out place in my opinion).

Downside :

Yeah, you guessed it, Security...although I have to admit, I wasn't bothered by them too much. I personnally think that EVERY club needs security, but I don't agree with the way they deal with things. For example, the lad toilets would be swarmed by security looking over the top of the cubicals!!! Is this legal?? Also, I thought that the sound system could do with being just a tadge louder, although it was nice to actually hear people speaking to you without having to repeat it more than three times :) And last but not least...Where the hell was Hixxy???? Had I dropped into a coma while he was on?

Oh who cares, I had the best weekend of my life by far, I just can't wait until Hardcore Heaven in a couple of weeks! :)
